A couple months back my brother in law requested an image of a modest pin-up girl for his Harley Davidson motorcycle. The pose is referenced from an image he liked by
Dominic Marco (titled "Anchors Away!"), but her outfit is based off the WWII era WAVES uniform.
Unfortunately, he passed away in July and I was torn between being determined to finish the image, yet disheartened when I would open the file. It took me a while, but I'm grateful to have completed "Dixie".
I'm pretty sure he's happy with the result.
